"Light Your Way" upgrades robotic vacuum cleaners by integrating built-in lights to brighten and enrich our daily routines. These lights not only brighten dark spaces but also guide safe navigation. Additionally, they offer customizable colors to enhance convenience and ambiance, making our daily routines easier and more enjoyable.
Background
These days, appliances prioritize (1) aesthetics, (2) specialization, and (3) diverse functions. This mirrors the key traits of lighting: (1) aesthetics, (2) functionality, and (3) variability. In light of this, numerous appliances now integrate lighting, as shown in this figure. Hence, we propose enhancing appliances' (1) aesthetics, (2) functionality, and (3) variability by incorporating lighting.
Our Product: Safety Care Robot Vacuum Cleaner
We propose a safety-focused robotic vacuum cleaner by integrating lighting directly into its design. With the addition of these lights, the vacuum can effectively guide users during nighttime operation, enhancing overall safety. Moreover, it offers customizable lighting options to illuminate specific areas for task-oriented activities and to enhance the ambiance of the environment.

Our system provides guidance and appropriate lighting, particularly beneficial for the elderly when they goes to the bathroom at night.
With a built-in LIDAR sensor, it detects obstacles or hazards while navigating. When detected, it alerts users by displaying red-colored lights.
Thanks to its mobility and form, it provides task lighting in areas where conventional lights are hard to reach.
It offers mood lighting with diverse hues to enhance the overall atmosphere. Thanks to this feature, users do not have to purchase new smart lighting fixtures for each location.
